Owners Francisco Valeriano and José Alves, have made Cataplana one of the finer eating places in Toronto. On entering Cataplana, you will find the premises have been renovated to include one of the most admired bars and wine racks in Toronto, as well as a comfortable cigar room.

His knowledge of Portuguese wines is outstanding and he prides himself on costumer service relations. Jose Alves is one of the best chefs of Portuguese cuisine in Toronto.
