Café MoZU offers all day dining with an Asian-inspired menu and spectacular views of the Washington Channel and the Potomac Tidal Basin.
Named after an ancient Chinese philosopher who expounded the principal of universal love, critically acclaimed Café MoZU, just off the main hotel lobby, is the hotel’s all day dining venue: an airy, sophisticated spot for a power breakfast, business lunch, or a relaxed dinner at sunset.

Dinner features our new Sushi Kitchen with our Master Sushi Chef Minoru Ogawa. The Sushi Kitchen features an assortment
of Maki rolls, Nigri Sushi, Special plates including the delightful Sushi Pizzas and Sashimi.
 
Breakfast includes traditional American favorites as well as a Japanese breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus showcase irresistible selections such as Hereford New York Steak marinated in Shinsu Miso, Grilled Tuna, and Rack of Lamb.

For lunch, try a traditional Japanese Bento Box with an American twist. Heavenly desserts by Pastry Chef Tony Miller include a Carrot Cake, with pineapple ginger compote and pecan brittle and a Trio of Home style Puddings.
 
Tidal Basin views dominate at this elegant hotel eatery near Capitol Hill; designer Tony Chi’s off-white decor is matched by chef George Fassiadis’ Asian–New American menu, including power breakfasts where bacon and eggs sit alongside traditional Japanese offerings, and dinners with entrees like Snake River Kobe beef marinated in miso.
