Market Inn is a Family operated Restaurant over 46 Years at 200 "E" Street, SW, in SW Washington DC. We Specialize in Fresh Seafood, but also serve Fine Meat, Chops, and Pasta. Since we were featured on the "Food Network" in 2003, we have shipped over 3000 Orders of our Famous She Crab Soup, Lobster Bisque, and Maryland Style Crab Cakes.
Guests from every state including Hawaii, & Alaska have enjoyed our Seafood. We are located only 3 blocks from the Capitol and the Mall, 2 blocks from Fed Center SW Metro on the Blue and Orange Line, and offer free parking on our lot right beside Our Restaurant. The Market Inn has been a landmark in South West Washington since 1959, with the same Family ownership. We strive to serve Seafood at its best, and have over 85 seafood & Beef entrees on our menu.
Sometimes known as "The Lobster House of Washington", (pick your own live from the tank), we also serve Prime Rib, Spare Ribs, Chicken, many fresh Fish and Shellfish selections. We buy only the Largest Fresh Sea Scallops, the Largest available Soft Shell Crabs, usually designated as "Whales", and Pride ourselves in the use of true "Jumbo Shrimp" in most shrimp dishes.
