Beach Blanket Babylon, the jewel in the Crown of the Notting Hill. One of the hottest restaurants in London.

BBB as it is affectionately known occupies an old Georgian House in the heart of Notting Hill. Its eclectic decor of a French Country Chateau combined with Gaudiesque architecture set the scene for a truly unique and magical experience. Established in 1990 it has undergone extensive renovation to make it one of the most prestigious restaurant and bars in London and a sure destination for the well heeled socialite.

 
Following in the Baroque and Rococco tradition the Restaurant comprises of various rooms all interconnected by walkways, tunnels, bridges and staircases with names like The Chapel, Crypt and Scullery, aptly describing each space. Visual motifs such as columns and fireplaces in both the Gaudiesque and Colossal style continue the awe inspiring theme found in the bar.

Baroque and opulent in style the bar is central to the life of the House. Large fireplaces dominate the main Room in styles drawn from the Emperors, Urns and Topiary trees bring the classical gardens of Europe into the internal landscape of the interior heightening the sense of drama and visual appeal that BBB is so famous for.

Herbed goat’s cheese on crusty bread with rocket, sun dried tomato and basil oil

Deep fried lobster and crab cake with mixed leaves and chili garlic mayonnaise


Main Course

Grilled swordfish with stir-fried vegetables and soy sauce

Aromatic crispy duck salad with cucumber, spring onion and honey soy dressing

Slow roasted lamb shank with grilled vegetables and balsamic glaze

Grilled mixed vegetables with goat’s cheese and balsamic reduction

Crème brulee

Sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream

Dark chocolate cheesecake with white chocolate sauce

Vanilla ice cream with Rossini biscuit
