Nestled in a 200-year old romantic Creole cottage in the heart of
the French
Quarter, Bayona is a jewel in the crown of New Orleans cuisine. Featuring
flavors of the Mediterranean, award-winning Chef Susan Spicer also
incorporates Alsace, Asia, India and the Southwest into her menu. Recognized
by national critics including the James Beard Foundation, Susan and Bayona
offer guests an elegantly causal atmosphere and consistently outstanding
service.
Guests may choose to dine in the main dining room surrounded by
photographs of Italian gardens, in the more intimate dining room frescoed with
a trompe loeile of Mediterranean landscapes, in the wine room embraced by
more than 250 of the worlds finest wines or on the lush tropical courtyard.
Bayonas extensive wine list places a special emphasis on French wines and has
received the Wine Spectator Award
of Excellence from 1996-1999. Our wine steward, Shannon Fristoe, is available to assist
