The Four Seasons Restaurant is described by the Zagat survey as an “architectural and gastronomical wonder that never goes out of style".
Designed by legendary architects Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson, the restaurant is a modern classic that has been redefining American dining since 1959.

  • The Pool Room - the Pool Room is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world. Guests dine around the white marble pool beneath a canopy of seasonally-changing trees.

  • The Grill Room - The Grill Room at The Four Seasons is truly a New York phenomenon.
Attracting New Yorkers for generations, it's played host to every major social event from JFK's 45th birthday party,
to Manhattan's last Grammy Awards celebration.

  • Pool Room Terrace - The Four Seasons' premier party room. It is perfect for receptions, meetings, cocktail parties and banquets.

  • James Beard Room is The Four Seasons' most intimate dining room.
Joined with the Frank Stella Room by sliding doors, it is often used as a suite with a reception on one side and dinner on the other.

  • The Frank Stella Room is an exquisitely beautiful dining room, located just above the Grill Room. Next to the James Beard Room, it features romantic starlight ceilings, harewood-paneled walls as well as four Lichtenstein lithographs.

An interesting look into the sociology of dining in America

Being one of the most famous and influential restaurants in America, it even has its own history book.

The Four Seasons housed a remarkable collection of modern art.
The Picasso pictured here is a stage curtain designed for the 1920 Paris production of The Three Cornered Hat.
Today it is displayed in the corridor that joins the Grill Room with the Pool Room.

Also on display are four Lichtenstein lithographs, three LeVa drawings, two Miró tapestries and a Larry Rivers oil on canvas.
Those who are interested in seeing them should feel welcome to stop in the restaurant anytime or join the tour every Tuesday at 3:00pm.
